Prevalência de Transtornos Mentais Comuns em familiares de pessoas internadas na unidade de emergência hospitalar

Objetivo: Avaliar a prevalência de Transtornos Mentais Comuns (TMC) em familiares pessoas internadas na unidade emergência hospitalar. Métodos: A amostra foi constituída por 143 clínica um hospital público grande porte cidade Feira Santana - Bahia. Para mensuração suspeição e rastreamento para TMC do utilizado o Self- Reporting Questionnaire considerando ponto corte presença sete ou mais respostas positivas. Resultados: Dos entrevistados 52,4% sofriam com TMC, destes 78,3% eram sexo feminino maioria, 60,1%, residia Santana. Conclusão: impacto causado pela hospitalização parente pode desencadear sintomas psíquicos que prejudicam integridade mental dos familiares, requerendo da equipe interdisciplinar saúde busca preparo específico reconhecimento dessas fragilidades intervenção.
